Tattoos of an Aries Design

Aries Art Design
Fiery, ambitious, intrepid, audacious – Aries is no shrinking violet for sure. So it is not surprising that Aries designs/tattoos amply reflect the boisterous Aries personality.
The Aries personality is most likely to choose a design that is big and bold, colourful and original. A commonly used tattoo is the glyph symbol (something like a ‘V’ with curly ends) or the ram – both symbolize the zodiac sign. The symbols by themselves are visually appealing and make for great tattoo designs. But an Aries person is rarely satisfied with the common and the clichéd. What they really strive for is originality, and of course, loads of attention and admiration.
Fortunately for them, these two symbols are of the malleable sort and can be morphed into various cool designs. A glyph can be enhanced with flames (Aries is a fire sign after all) or can even be used as a large, bold design covering a greater portion of the back. Incorporating elements of Mars, their ruling planet can also be an option. The God of War, sandstorms, dashes of red, crossing swords, rams’ horns – all of it can be used in designs based on the glyph symbol. If the person is question is not too keen on the machismo of the aforementioned designs, then they could opt for options like entwined flower stems, hearts, a bird with spread wings, music notes and so on.
But if macho is on their minds, Mr (or even Ms) Aries need not look further – they have a ram for company. The ram is powerful animal, renowned for its, well, head butting skills. So tattoos of a hard headed ram, seemingly charging out of your biceps can be quite a powerful statement. Ram-based tattoos can be used in both Celtic and Gothic designs, and it can look superbly effective as a family crest or symbol. The ram was also a significant symbol in Egyptian mythology and architecture or how about a Picasso-esque design – a sharp, fragmented, edgy design of the head? Royalty, history, mythology, Cubism – just the kind of poshness the doctor ordered for the Aries personality.
And since this is a kind of starry tattoo, why not take a shot at the constellations? The Aries constellation is rather beautiful, and this can be a great understated, simple and stylish design option.
If the conventional astrological symbols do not thrill the Aries personality, then why not opt for something symbolic of the personality instead. The Aries person is born between March 21 and April 19 and is typically a born leader and quite a rambunctious (the “ram” connection, see?) personality. They have the option of using risqué designs, a little naughty and adventurous like themselves. Aries personalities like taking chances, so how about a pair of dice – or three aces or something like that? Aries are not particularly peace loving, but there are exceptions of course. How about a peace sign then, incorporating the graphic elements of the glyph sign? And if the Aries person in question is a bit of a cinephile, and has a revengeful personality, perhaps a “V for Vendetta” tattoo would be apt! As mentioned before, Aries people are no cream puffs and should get a tattoo that reflects their personality the best.
